Another week . . . . .

Hope all of you are having a great week. We have been busy with work and other activities. Dad is really busy as he is the chair of our stake's Preparedness Expo on August 23rd. He has been making lots of calls getting people to do presentations, vendors to show preparedness supplies, etc. He has a fire truck coming to the stake center, the Red Cross, and USGS doing presentations. He is trying to get the Coast Guard to come and land their helicopter on the parking lot. He is not having as good as luck with them.

Last night we went to a special fireside at the SF Stake. They are celebrating their 80th birthday. Lots of things happening regarding the church in the bay area. Last night Bonnie Goodliff (sp) who is a organist with Tabernacle choir and her sister/and husband who are historical professors did the program. It was really good. There was also displays of historical items from church history in the bay area and an art show. We saw many people we haven't seen for years. Tonight Quinton Cook and his wife Mary are speaking and tomorrow there is a guided walk through SF showing historical spots. Unfortunately we won't be able to go as we have Jesse Gilbert's wedding/reception tonight and Lauren (Hutchins) and her husband are being sealed tomorrow. Wow, too many good things happening.

We love you all, Mom and Dad
